The Floatie Mate was specifically designed for Natural Floods. The target users for the Floatie Mate are children ages 2-5. Due to high water levels from torrential rain, there are many dangers. When trudging through the murky water, visibility of where one is walking is poor. Therefore the risk of children trudging through the water and getting injured is high.
The Floatie Mate will be worn by the children and when needed, the Floatie Mate (in the vest mode) can be taken off, unfolded and self inflate. The Floatie Mate can be used as a floatation raft for the child and therefore allow their guardians to carefully navigate them through the water without risking injury to their children.
