Hello there,
I am a multidisciplinary designer trying to make a dent in the world. My inspiration stems from my love for fashion, music, food, art, travel, culture family and friends.
I received my BFA in Industrial Design from Carnegie Mellon in 2006. Since then, I've returned to my hometown in Brooklyn, New York taking in opportunities that will allow me to grow as a designer and as a person.
Along the way, I somehow founded a soft-goods design studio named Skinny Vinny. Even though Skinny Vinny has kept me busy, I always find the time for new projects and new hobbies.
Feel free to look around and don't hesitate to drop me a line, even if it's just to say HI.( just click the link at the lower left to do so.)
I hope you enjoy what you see.
The tea containers are a home for three specific loose leaf teas. The containers were each specifically designed according to the taste and feel of the tea. The basic form for the three containers are inspired by river stones. Like the stones, the containers do not have one specific orientation. They can be placed on it’s head, on it’s side or however they happen to fall. The outcome was to translated the emotive/sensual experience of each tea to a concrete form.
Late night in the studio and there's a lot of head bobbing going on. We can't get enough of the album Visions by Grimes. We featured the single Genesis on our No. 17 Spring/Summer 2012 playlist. Check out the new video for Oblivion below. It's a keeper.
Stunning!
